Medical internships and clinical placements in Europe

FORTEedu helps doctors, residents and healthcare professionals from Kazakhstan and Central Asia find a suitable medical internship in Europe. We coordinate a clinical placement, observership or professional visit in Latvia and the Baltics around your specialty, learning goals and preferred dates.

Medical specialties

Programmes can be explored in anaesthesiology and anesthesia, general and subspecialty surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, radiology, cardiology and oncology. The exact department and participation format are confirmed individually with the host institution.

Clinical bases in Latvia and the Baltics

Depending on the programme, we consider university hospitals and specialist clinical bases in Latvia, including PSKUS, RAKUS, BKUS and Rīgas Dzemdību nams, as well as suitable partner institutions in the Baltics. Availability depends on the department, dates, language and host approval.
