Oncology observership and clinical training in Europe

FORTEedu helps oncologists, surgeons, radiologists and other medical professionals from Central Asia explore oncology-focused professional visits in Europe. We coordinate an educational objective with a suitable department in Latvia or the Baltics and clarify the visit format before confirmation.

• Multidisciplinary oncology care and tumour boards.
• Diagnostic and interventional radiology in oncology.
• Surgical oncology and related subspecialties.
• Radiation and medical oncology pathways, where available.
• Organisation of a professional visit around an oncology congress.

Educational format

The programme may include observation of department work, agreed meetings, lectures and case discussions. The exact scope, patient-data access, duration and department availability are decided by the host institution. An observership does not automatically grant permission to practise medicine or perform procedures.
